A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD DENYING THE REQUEST OF
WORLD SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION AND
MCDONALDS CORPORATION FOR A VARIANCE TO
CONSTRUCT A CONIl~lON POLE SIGN TO BE
LOCATED AT 11170 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD,
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
' WHEREAS the Cit Council on Januar 17 1989 did ursua t

to law, hold a public hearing to consider Variance Case No.
88089; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered all pertinent testimony
offered in the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department has determined
that the project would cause no substantial impact on the
environment and recommends that the Negative Declaration be
certified as adequate; and
WHEREAS, the requested Variance does not meet the required
findings of the Zoning Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
order as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council deny the request for a
Variance order under Case No. 88089 to construct a common pole
sign at 11170 Long Beach Boulevard, Lynwood, California.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
~ immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of January, 1989.
