Leesburg Virtual Realty Tour to Provide Update on Available
Retail and Office Space in Town on October 15, 2015
2015 Leesburg Retail Market Analysis information will be distributed.
Leesburg, VA (October 2, 2015) – The Leesburg Economic Development Department will
present its annual Virtual Realty Tour on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 8:00am to 11:30am
at Smokehouse Live, located at 1602 Village Market Boulevard SE, Suite 120, in Village at
Leesburg.
This event is designed to highlight the available office, retail and commercial space in the Town
of Leesburg. Brokers, property owners and developers will showcase their listings and be
available to share the details of their projects and follow-up questions.
Businesses in the market for office, retail or commercial space are invited to attend. The event
is free. Breakfast and coffee will be provided.
Following the available properties showcase, the Town of Leesburg will moderate a panel
discussion on Downtown Leesburg’s Art Destiny. Confirmed panelists include singer-songwriter
Todd Wright; entrepreneur Ara Bagdasarian; Jack O’Donnell, CCIM; Beth Erickson, President &
CEO of Visit Loudoun; Tom O’Neill, architect and chair of the Leesburg Commission on Public
Art; and Susan Berry-Hill, Leesburg Director of Planning and Zoning.
In addition, copies of the 2015 Retail Market Analysis for Leesburg will be distributed. This
report identifies potential opportunities for retailers to grow their businesses by highlig hting
the top product categories that shoppers make purchases outside of Leesburg as well as the top
product categories for which Leesburg is a retail destination.
“This annual event provides an important opportunity to bring the Leesburg real estate
community and the retail and office users together,” said Marantha Edwards, Leesburg’s
Economic Development Director. “Each year, there is a new opportunity to address the
momentum in the Leesburg market and this year it will be about Downtown as a destination for
the arts.”
Attendees can network with brokers, developers, bankers, and Town staff before and after the
event.
