Comegys, and Simon Wettereau having received the highest number of votes for Town Trustees they are hereby declared duly elected as Trustees of said Town for the ensueing year. Resolved, That at said election C.B. Acker C.B. Acker declared having received the highest number of votes elected Town for Town Marshal, he is hereby declared duly Marshal elected to said office for the ensueing year. Board of above date. Present -Messrs. Stevens- Mitchel, Comegys, Jordan, Wetterau On motion of J. L. Mitchel and second of W. Jordan C. J. Stevens was unanimously elected Chairman of the Board. New Business On motion the Board proceeded to elect a Town Clerk and a Town Treasurer, with the following result of August Mueller for Town Clerk and A. Mueller elected Town Clerk Phillip Anspacher for Town Treasurer. P. Anspacher elected On motion the following applications were Town Treasurer then read for the position of Nightwatchman, were then read from David Wallace - Jno W. Cozad Appointment of Night W. C. Rogers_ F. P. Euright_ Jos. Wilkinson and Aug Watchman laid over Mueller. and ordered to be laid over until the next meeting of the Board. The Committee of Fire and Water regarding Report from a Purchase of a new Suction Hose for Niagara Committee on Fire & Water Fire Engine No. 1 presented the following report We the Committee on Fire and Water have examined the suction hose and find there is now sig use for a new one J. L. Mitchel. S. Wetterau_ The Printing Bill of W.P. Bartlett to amount Auditing of Bills of 5 Dollars and 75 cents examined, found correct and on motion Clerk instructed to draw an order on Town Treasurer for the above amount in favor of W. P. Bartlett. Ordinance & The motion of J. L. Mitchel that an Ordinance Judiciary Committee appointed and Judiciary committee be appointed and added to the other Committees_ Carried and the Report from H & L President appointed - J. L. Mitchel. G.W. Comegys Co. regarding and W. Jordan to as such a Committee reduction of rent Trustees Jordan entered the Board and reported that the L.H. and L Co. agrees to reduce the rent of the Engine house to Eight Dollars per month_ Report accepted and referred to the Finance Committee for consideration. On motion the Communication of the Chief Engineer regarding the Water supply at the Truck= House taken from the Table and referred to the Committee on fire and Water.
