A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD TO APPROVE A CONTRACT
AMENDMENT FOR CITY PROSECUTOR SERVICES
IN SUPPORT OF THE CODE ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on September 6, 1988, the City of Lynwood entered
into an agreement with Sampson and Middleton (Prosecutor) for
City Prosecutor Services in support of the City's Code Enforce-
ment Program; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provided for Prosecutor to provide
at least 7 hours of service per week at the rate of $75 per hour,
with the total amount of compensation not to exceed $26,500; and
WHEREAS, the large volume of Code Enforcement activities
have necessitated Prosecutor's services on the average of twelve
(12) hours per week.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The maximum amount payable under Section 6. of
the agreement with Sampson and Middleton is hereby amended to
reflect an increase to $38,500.
~ SECTION 2. All other terms and conditions remain
unchanged.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon approval.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of Februarv ,
1989.
