RESOLUTION 2023-057
Resolution Appointing Paul DCamp as Mayor Pro Tern
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2023, Council member Kevin Adams resigned his position, which included the
appointment to the Mayor Pro Tern position; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted to the City's council by Section 372 of the Code of Iowa,
Chapters 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21 of the City code, the Council makes various appointments to its offices
and responsibilities annually and as -needed; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor wishes to appoint Paul DCamp as Mayor Pro Tem; and,
WHEREAS, no monetary expenses will be incurred by this action.
NOW THERE FOR IT BE RESOLVED that:
Section 1. Paul DCamp is duly appointed as Mayor Pro Tern and is hereby afforded all the power,
duties, and responsibilities of the position.
