Resolution Approving Revisions to Signatories
to the City's Accounts at Quad City Bank & Trust
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2023, Councilperson and Mayor Pro Tem Kevin Adams resigned his position, and
on that same date, Council accepted said resignation; and,
WHEREAS, on July 25, 2023, Councilperson Paul DCamp was duly appointed as Mayor Pro Tem via
resolution 2023-057 Resolution Appointing Paul DCamp as Mayor Pro Tem; and,
WHEREAS, Kevin Adams is reflected as a signatory on the City's checking account and certificate of
deposit with Quad City Bank & Trust, and Paul DCamp is not; and,
WHEREAS, Quad City Bank & Trust requires two authorized signatures on checks and other documents
related to the City's accounts, and currently only two signatories on the accounts are employees of the
City; and,
WHEREAS, Council wishes to remove Kevin Adams as a signatory and add Paul DCamp as a signatory to
the City's accounts at Quad City Bank & Trust.
NOW THERE FOR IT BE RESOLVED that:
Section 1. City Council authorizes and directs staff to coordinate the removal of Kevin Adams as a
signatory on the City's accounts with Quad City Bank & Trust.
Section 2.
City Council authorizes and directs staff to coordinate the addition of Paul DCamp as a
signatory on the City's accounts with Quad City Bank & Trust, with the authority to sign
the required documents provided by the City's financial institutions to fulfill those
responsibilities.
