A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO COVER THE COSTS OF RENAMING CENTURY
BOULEVARD TO MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase new street signs
for the renaming of Century Boulevard to Martin Luther King
Jr. Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, ceremonies are being planned which require
funding; and
WHEREAS, no appropriation was made in the FY 1988/89
Budget for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee are
authorized to make the following additional appropriations:

Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
