HomeMy Public PortalAbout89-044 (03-07-89)RESOLUTION NO. g9-44 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO COVER THE COSTS OF RENAMING CENTURY BOULEVARD TO MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase new street signs for the renaming of Century Boulevard to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard; and WHEREAS, ceremonies are being planned which require funding; and WHEREAS, no appropriation was made in the FY 1988/89 Budget for this purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee are authorized to make the following additional appropriations: ' From: $2,200 ------------------- General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance To: 01-4001-4212 $ 200 01-4001-4220 2,000 $2,200 $22,000-------------- 03-4447-4212 Traffic Safety Fund Unappropriated fund Balance $22,000 Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
