A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING INFORMAL BIDS FOR FURNITURE PURSUANT TO SECTION
2-62.C OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND AUTHORIZING THE
APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFORE
WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase furniture for
various City offices; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of the furniture can be more
' economically and efficiently done through informal bids; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for an appropriation to cover
the cost of the furniture.
NOW, THEREEORE BE IT RESOLVED, that City Council of the
City of Lynwood hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the furniture can be more economically
and efficiently purchased through informal bidding.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following additional appropriation:

' Section 3. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of
March 1989.
