WHIIZEAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on the 7th
day of Maroh, 1989, adopt a Resolution No. 89-39, declaring ita intention to
vacate that portion of Hulme Avenue, just South of Imperial Highway in the
City of Lynwood, as hereinafter described; and
~F'.AS, notices of said vacation were published and poatecl in ~e
time, form and manner required by law; end
WHERE,AS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the 4th day of
April, 1989, as prescribed by law.
~~ ~'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Coimcil of the City of
Lynwood as followa:
' Seetion 1. That the following described street easement is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and that the public
interest, necessity, and convenience require, snd the City Council of said
City hereby declares its order to vacate arul abarulon said street easement, as
described: (see attachments A& B- Lega] Degcription and mep, respe~tively~.
Section 2. That an easement be reserved for City of Lynwood in,
over, or upon said above described property for the construction, erection,
and/ur maintenanoe therein of public utilities.
Section 3. That an easement be reserved for the Southern California
Gas CompenY, a corporation organized and existing umier and by virtue of the
laws of the State of California, their suceesaors and assigns~ a right-of-way
to lay, construct, maintein operate, replace, r~ove, renew and repair, change
the size of and remove one or more pipelines, with metering~ me~~,i~g~
regulating, products and other substsnces with the ri~ht of ingress and egress
to ancl from the same, over, urtder and along said above described property.
Section 4. That the affected property owners shall record access
easements as necessary for proper street access.
~ Section 5. That the City of Lynwood shall construct a lmuctzle arul
associated improvements.
Section 6. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall cause a
certified copy of said order to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
Los Angeles County.
Section ?. This resolution shall take effect itmnediately upon its
adoption.

LEGAL DSSCRIPTION
(Vacation of a Portion of Hulme Avenue)
Just South of Imperial Highway
That portion of Hulme Avenue, in the City of Lynwood, County of
Loa Angelea, State of California, as ahown on Tract No. 12600,
as per map recorded in Book 241, pages 34 and 35 of maps in the
' office of the County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
Bounded to the North by the following described line: BeginninB
at the most northeasterly corner of Lot 25 of said Tract 12600,
thence westerly along the northerly line of Lot 25, a distance of
168.34 feet to a point of tangency with a curve concave
southeasterly and having a radius of 20 feet, said point being
the true point of beginning; thence westerly along the westerly
prolongation of said northerly property line a diatance of 100
feet to a point of tangency with a curve concave southwesterl9
and having a radius of 20 feet, said westerly prolongation being
the southerly right-of-way line of Imperial Highway, 100 feet
wide; and, bounded to the south by the following described line:
Beginning at the most southwesterly corner of Lot 24 of said
Tract 12600, thence easterly along the southerly line of Lot 24,
a distance of 28.19 feet to a point of tangency with a curve
concave northwesterly and having a radius of 50 feet, said point
being the true point of beginning; thence easterly and northerly
~ along said cUrve a distance of 23.33 feet through a central angle
of 26 deSreea 43 minutes 48 seconds to a point of tangency with a
curve having a radius of 62 feet and concave to the southwest;
thence easterly and southerly along said curve a distance of
155.63 feet throngh a central angle of 143 degrees 49 minutes 12
seconds to a point of tangency with a curve having a radius of 62
feet and concave to the southeast; thence southerly and easterly
along said curve a distance of 31.00 feet through a central angle
of 28 degrees 39 minutes 00 seconds to a point on the westerly
lot line of Lot 29 of said Tract 12600, said point being 16 feet,
along said westerly lot line, southerly of the most northWesterly
corner of Lot 29 of said Tract 12600.
