HomeMy Public PortalAbout89-053 (04-04-89)RSSOLUTION NO. 89-53 ' A NESOLU'I'ION OF Tf~ CITY COUNCIL OF Tf~ CITY OF LYN[aOpD ORDHRING Tf~ VACATION AND AgqN~pDp•~' FOR PUBLIC PUItpp3FS OF A PORTION OF HULME AVE~IUE, .NST SOLPi'H OF IhhIPEERL9I, HI(3iWAY WHIIZEAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on the 7th day of Maroh, 1989, adopt a Resolution No. 89-39, declaring ita intention to vacate that portion of Hulme Avenue, just South of Imperial Highway in the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter described; and ~F'.AS, notices of said vacation were published and poatecl in ~e time, form and manner required by law; end WHERE,AS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the 4th day of April, 1989, as prescribed by law. ~~ ~'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Coimcil of the City of Lynwood as followa: ' Seetion 1. That the following described street easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and that the public interest, necessity, and convenience require, snd the City Council of said City hereby declares its order to vacate arul abarulon said street easement, as described: (see attachments A& B- Lega] Degcription and mep, respe~tively~. Section 2. That an easement be reserved for City of Lynwood in, over, or upon said above described property for the construction, erection, and/ur maintenanoe therein of public utilities. Section 3. That an easement be reserved for the Southern California Gas CompenY, a corporation organized and existing umier and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, their suceesaors and assigns~ a right-of-way to lay, construct, maintein operate, replace, r~ove, renew and repair, change the size of and remove one or more pipelines, with metering~ me~~,i~g~ regulating, products and other substsnces with the ri~ht of ingress and egress to ancl from the same, over, urtder and along said above described property. Section 4. That the affected property owners shall record access easements as necessary for proper street access. ~ Section 5. That the City of Lynwood shall construct a lmuctzle arul associated improvements. Section 6. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall cause a certified copy of said order to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County. Section ?.
