AMENDING RESOLUTION #04-223 PROVIDING FOR A CARTERET
VETERANS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on July 22nd, 2004 the Governing Body of the Borough of
Carteret created the Carteret Veterans Affairs Committee;
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has determined that it is in the best interest:
of the community to increase the membership of the Veterans Affairs
Committee by one (1) additional public member.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Resolution #04-223 creating a Carteret Veterans
Affairs Committee is hereby amended to provide for the appointment of a one
(1) additional public member, thereby increasing the total membership of the
Committee to eight (8) members, three (3) of whom shall be public members.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the term of the additional public
member provided for herein shall be for a term of two (2) years.
