HomeMy Public PortalAboutMarch2020MajesticTheaterWatertown Free Public Library Library Director Leone E. Cole TO: Trustees FROM: Caitlin Browne, Assistant Director DATE: February 26, 2020 RE: Promotional Opportunity at Majestic Theater The library was approached by Screen Vision Media with an opportunity to promote the library at the new Majestic Movie Theater opening in Watertown. They offer 15 and 30 second spots for local non -profits and community organizations to advertise on theater screens before movies start. The spots can be produced by Screen Vision Media or an organization can provide the content completely. There is a $450 set up fee and then rates are based off of the amount of time the spot runs (in weeks). Pricing options: 15 seconds, 32 weeks: $3,330 15 seconds, 52 weeks: $4,350 30 seconds, 32 weeks: $4,290 30 seconds, 52 weeks: $5,390 If we move forward Joe Ferreira of the circulation department would create our video with input from a small team. We've viewed samples of the what Screen Vision Media can provide and we would not be interested in having them create something for us. I recommend that we consider a 30 second spot for a 32 or 52 week run to be paid with special gifts at the approval of the Trustees. 123 Main Street Watertown, MA 02472-4478 617.972.6434 watertownlib.org Client Screenvision Representative Email Phone Today's Date Cinema Element Animated Slide = A Animated Slide with Audio = AA Audio Visual Spot= AV Length of Ad (example :15, :30) Frequency of Ad (example 1X, 2X, 3X) Campaign Length # of Weeks Proposed Start Date Total Theaters Total Screens Weekly Rate (Net) Handling & Production Fee Total Media Price (Net) Total Campaign Price (Net) Watertown Free Library Jimmy Ansourian la mow la n iyscreenv is lonmedia.con i 508.494.2903 2/10/2020 AV :15 ix 32 4/3/2020 1 7 $90.00 $450.00 $2,880.00 $3,330.00 CINEMA ADVERTISING PROPOSAL '±;' MEN Y ;I; MEDIA Theater N ea er Name Screens Pods City Majestic 7 at Arsenal Yards 7 Screens 1 Watertown WHY CINEMA ❑ Impact -Cinema's unique a bddy to offer you premium content in front of a desirable audience in a I mmersive environment gives you the most impactful impression of any screen in the media landscape ❑ Mass Audience — mowegoing is the #1 form of entertainment reaching 77%of adults 12+ annually 0 Growing Audience — while other media is struggling to maintain effectiveness, the strength of the box office is a leading reason why more and more businesses are investingtheir advertising dollars in Cinema 7 Promotional Push —Hollywood studios and film distributors spend millions of dollars weekly to push local people to the theatre to see movies and YOUR MESSAGE ;] MNlenniels — 70% of all Millennialsgotothe movies at least 6times per year and that number is growing Final Element creative materials must be approved by both Screenvision and Exhibitor/Circuits The proposed rates are valid for 7 business days as of the submission date, assuming inventory availability and are subject to change at any time - pending theater clearance/circuit approval. 450 State MA Weekly Price Weekly Rate These numbers are estimates based on current network configuration $90 $90 Client Screenvision Representative Email Phone Today's Date Cinema Element Animated Slide = A Animated Slide with Audio = AA Audio Visual Spot= AV Length of Ad (example :15, :30) Frequency of Ad (example 1X, 2X, 3X) Campaign Length # of Weeks Proposed Start Date Total Theaters Total Screens Weekly Rate (Net) Handling & Production Fee Total Media Price (Net) Total Campaign Price (Net) Watertown Free Library Jimmy Ansourian ons0una nAscteemnsmrrniaci la. coin 508 494.2903 2/10/2020 AV :15 1x 52 4/3/2020 1 7 $75.00 $450.00 $ 3,900.00 $4,350.00 CINEMA ADVERTISING PROPOSAL SCREEN VISION MEDIA Theater Name Screens Pods City State Weekly Rate Majestic 7 at Arsenal Yards 7 1 Watertown MA $75 Screens 7 Weekly Price 575 WHY CINEMA ❑ Impact - Cinema's unique abilrtyto offer you premium content in front of a desirable audience in a immersiveenvironment gives you the most impacrful impression of any screen in the media landscape ❑ Mass Audience— moviegoing is the #1 form of entertainment reaching 77% of adults 12+annually J Growing Audience — while other media isstrugglingto maintain effectiveness, the strength of the box office is leading reason why more and more businesses are investingtheir advertising dollars in Cinema ❑ Promotional Push —Hollywood studios and film distributors spend millions of dollarsweeklyto push local peopleto the theatre to see movies and YOUR MESSAGE ❑ Mlllennials — 70% of all Milknnielsgoto the movies at least 6times per year and that number is growing Final Element creative materials must be approved by both Screenvision and Exhibitor/Circuits The proposed rates are valid for 7 business days as of the submission date, assuming inventory availability. and are subject to change at any time - pending theater clearance/circuit approval. 450 These numbers are estimates based on current network configuration Client Screenvision Representative Email Phone Today's Date Cinema Element Animated Slide = A Animated Slide with Audio = AA Audio Visual Spot= AV Length of Ad (example :15, :30) Frequency of Ad (example 1X, 2X, 3X) Campaign Length # of Weeks Proposed Start Date Total Theaters Total Screens Weekly Rate (Net) Handling & Production Fee Total Media Price (Net) Total Campaign Price (Net) Watertown Free Library Jimmy Ansourian JansourIanlO5creenvlsioilmadla corn 508.494.2903 2/10/2020 AV :3D 1x 32 413/202D 1 7 512400 $450.00 $3,840.00 $4,290.00 Theater Name Majestic 7 at Arsenal Yards CINEMA ADVERTISING PROPOSAL ;: ,r SCREEN ?
