Resolution Approving a Professional Services Agreement with MSA
Professional Services for Riverdale Parking Lots Engineering
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") has received and reviewed a proposed Professional
Services Agreement and Scope of Services from City Engineer, Chris Cooper, MSA Professional Services,
for the City Hall Parking Lots Reconstruction project (MSA Project # 10876102); and,
WHEREAS, the Scope of Services includes, but is not limited to, chairing a pre -construction meeting,
reviewing shop drawings, staking, observing construction, preparing markups, preparing change orders
and pay applications, amongst other tasks; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services' fees for this work are $27,500; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to have City Engineer, Chris Cooper, MSA Professional Services, complete the
tasks named in the Professional Services Agreement and Scope of Work for the City Hall Parking Lots
Reconstruction project; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this action is 301-650-6407 Capital Project Funds, City Hall 8z.
General Buildings, Engineering Expense.
NOW THERE FOR IT BE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1.
The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the MSA Professional Services Agreement
and Scope of Work for MSA Project # 10876102 for the City Hall Parking Lots
Reconstruction project.
Section 2. Once executed, MSA Professional Services is authorized to begin work as outlined in the
Professional Services Agreement and Scope of Work.
