Resolution Endorsing and Pledging Support for
Adam Hupp's BSA Eagle Scout Project
WHEREAS, on July 11, 2023, Adam Hupp presented a proposal for a BSA Eagle Scout project to design,
construct, and install signs at several park entrances throughout the City and asked for the City's financial
support; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees that the proposed project benefits the community and requested a resolution
endorsing and pledging support for Adam Hupp's BSA Eagle Scout project; and,
WHEREAS, the City will allow Adam Hupp to alter the City's property at the proposed locations; and,

WHEREAS, the City will provide monetary support not to exceed $ �'
and,
WHEREAS, the City would like to see the project completed by I A 'R z-62- ; and,
WHEREAS, Adam Hupp will serve as Project Manager, fundraiser, and point of contact for all questions
and recruitment of volunteers; however, the City will assist with planning and development as requested
by Adam Hupp; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for this action is 001-430-6320 General Fund, Parks, Grounds
Maintenance and Repair.
NOW THERE FOR IT BE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1.
The City hereby endorses and pledges its support as indicated above for Adam Hupp's
BSA Eagle Scout project to design, construct, and install signs at several park entrances
throughout the City.
Passed and approved this 8th day of August 2023.
