Resolution Approving a New Organizational Chart
WHEREAS, City Council met on July 25, 2023, to discuss the City's current organizational structure, which
is attached as Exhibit A, and to discuss revisions to that organizational structure; and,
WHEREAS, on that date, City Council advised the Clerk to proceed with a revised document making
changes to the organization structure, which are reflected in the attached document labeled Exhibit B; and,
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to codify the changes in organizational structure via resolution; and,
WHEREAS, this action requires no funding source.
NOW THERE FOR IT BE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. The attached document, labeled Exhibit B, is approved effective immediately.
Section 2.
The Clerk is directed to maintain the new organizational chart in the Human Resources
records, to recommend any future revisions as needed, and to post a copy of the new
organizational chart in the public files on the City's website.
