HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2014-170RESOLUTION NO. 2014-170 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PARK RIDGE, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN, IOWA WHEREAS, Hochstedler Building & Development, ha' filed with'the City of Tiffin a preliminary'plat for Park Ridge, a sub -division to the City of Tiffin, Iowa, legally described on attached Exhibit "A", hereby incorporated and WHEREAS, The Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and have given their recommendations for the preliminary plat presented at the October 2014 and November 2014 meetings, with exceptions as described on original preliminary plat, and Y WHEREAS, The Tiffin Fire Chief has reviewed and given their recommendations for the preliminary plat, and subject to certain revisions on the preliminary plat, and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Hart Frederick, has given his review and comments of said preliminary plat for the preliminary plat and, subject to certain revisions: and provided however that no improvements shall be constructed or installed without his written approval, which may be withheld until such time as all necessary permits have been issued from the state and federal agencies; and NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE City Council "of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Preliminary Plat, for Park Ridge is hereby approved; and further that the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all related legal documents, and that the City shall properly record this Resolution 2014-170 and if necessary as per instructions of City Attorney, the revised Sub -Dividers Agreement is not to be included with this resolution. That the lots within Park Ridge shall be zoned according to the official zoning map for the City of Tiffin, Iowa to be Lots 1-8 and Outlot "A" to be R-1 E and cash -in -lieu in the amount of $25,000 to be dedicated to the City as Open/Park Space. On the 10th day of December, 2014 at a regular City'Council meeting Council person Ryan introduced A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT OF PARK RIDGE, A SUBDIVISION TO TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Kahler. Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Petersen, Ryan, Kahler Nays: None Absent: None WHEREUPON 5 Council members voted for approval, Mayor Berner declared the motion carried and approved Resolution 2014-170 be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
