Ida Lee Park Recreation Center Gymnasium Reopened
Leesburg, VA (October 14, 2015) – Earlier today, a vehicle driven by an adult student driver
struck an exterior corner of the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center. Fortunately, no one was
injured.
The accident caused damage to both the exterior wall and the interior of the gymnasium.
Immediately following the accident, the gymnasium was closed for safety reasons. The Loudoun
County Building Inspector has evaluated the damage and the gymnasium was reopened.
The driver of the vehicle has been charged with reckless driving.
