APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT -
T&M ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of contract administration and inspection
phase services for the installation of the new floating dock~ and
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of T &M Associates possess the requisite experience
and expertise to provide said specialized legal services; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret that the engineering firm of T &M Associates is hereby appointed pursuant to
the firm's existing contract with the Borough for a maximum cost not to exceed
$8,000.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this contract is awarded as a professional service
pursuant to NJ.S.A. 40A: 11-2(6) and shall be advertised as may be required by law.
