A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY LEVYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
FOR CERTAIN BENEFITED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE
ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1972, the City Council of the City of
IITemple City by Ordinance No. 72 -350 adopted a Redevelopment Plan
for a redevelopment project area described therein; and

WHEREAS, the Temple City Community Redevelopment Agency (Agency)
has incurred substantial debt in carrying out said Redevelopment Plan
as said debt is described in the original report of the Agency to the
City Council made pursuant to California Health and Safety Code
Section 33822, as modified by the supplement and amendment to said
report made by said Agency and received by the City Council prior
to June 19, 19 79 .
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted by Resolution No. 79 -1827
a special assessment area within the Rosemead Boulevard Redevelopment
Project and levied special assessments on properties located therein;
and
WHEREAS, the Agency has presented its subsequent report for the
levies to be made for the 1984 -85 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, notices have been given to all known assesses; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the report of the
Agency; and
WHEREAS, the procedures for such special assessment area and
the levy of assessments pursuant thereto are exempt from the re-
quirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (Section
2100 et. seq.. of the Public Resources Code); and
WHEREAS, the special assessments provided for in Resolution
No. 79 -1827 shall be deemed to have been levied in each succeeding
year until the assessment is revised or rescinded.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Report of the Agency for the 1984 -85 fiscal
year is hereby adopted as the Report required by Health and Safety
Code Section 33838.
SECTION 2. The existing levy will raise substantially the
same amount as is needed to make the payments of debt of the Agency
and no change in the levy is needed.
SECTION 3. The assessments shown on Exhibit C are hereby
confirmed as the assessments to pay the indebtedness incurred by
said Agency for the fiscal year 1984 -85 subject to the limitations
of Section 33835.3 of the California Health and Safety. Code.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy
of_this Resolution, with attachments, Exhibit A, map of the special
assessment area; Exhibit B, legal description of the assessed
parcels; and Exhibit.C, assessments, to the County Auditor of Los
Angeles County prior to May 15, 1984.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.
