A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO REPEAL THE PLANNED AREA
DEVELOPMENT ("PAD") ORDINANCE
Whereas, The City has had issues with clarity in the PAD Ordinance and would like
time to review and amend said PAD Ordinance accordingly, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that it was recommended by
the City and Planning & Zoning that�it would be best to temporarily repeal the PAD
Ordinance until such amendments can be made so other developments do not start the
process of utilizing the incorrect PAD Ordinance,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to seta
public hearing for Wednesday; January 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall to repeal the
PAD Ordinance.
On the 10TH day of December, 2014, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2014-176, A
RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO REPEAL THE PAD ORDINANCE
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Petersen, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon 5 Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2014-176, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING TO REPEAL THE PAD ORDINANCE to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
