AUTHORIZING EJMERGENCY CONTRACT WITH INSURANCE
RESTORATION SPECIALISTS INe.
WHEREAS, the Borough's Emergency Management Building has sustained
severe fire damage; and
WHEREAS, the present condition creates an immediate threat to the health and
safety of the Borough's residents; and
WHEREAS, the Insurance Restoration Specialists Inc., 26 Kennedy Boulevard,
East Brunswick, New Jersey, has submitted a proposal to make the repairs to the
Emergency Management Building in the cost of $89,000.00, which shall be paid
by the Borough's insurance carrier.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the proposal from Insurance Specialists Inc, is hereby
approved and the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with said company to perform the required repairs.
