RESOLUTION NO: 2015-004 ,
A`RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE 2014 1 &'1 PHASE
0 PROJECT, FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, UPON REVIEW OF THE BIDS AND
RECOMMENDATION BY THE PROJECT ENGINEER
Whereas, The City Council of the City of Tiffin has'received a bid for the 2014 1 & I,
Phase 0 Project; and
Whereas the City of Tiffin has identified KMA Trucking and Excavating as -having the
lowest, most responsible bid; and

Whereas, the City of .Tiffin desires to expedite the contractual process; now
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize
the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents, and forms of
contract, as requiredand _necessary to execute a contract with KMA Trucking &
Excavating as identified and recommended by the Project Engineer.

On the 14th day of January, 2015, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2015-004, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT.FOR THE 20141 & I PHASE 0 PROJECT and
made a motion for approval. Motion seconded`by Councilperson Petersen.

Absent: Bartels
Whereupon Four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2015-004, A RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD
OF CONTRACT FOR THE 2014 1 & I PHASE 0 PROJECT to be adopted and signified
his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council 'on the 14th day of January, 2015.
