CITY COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, DECEMBER 2, 2019
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the December 2, 2019 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at
5:45 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when t he meeting convened:
Present: Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Prather, Schreiber, Ward, and
Wiseman
Absent: Fitzwater and Mihalevich
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Hensley will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Gail Strope, Human Resources Director will present the 2019 Keven
Meinhardt Award to Katy Lacy.
- Fire Chief Matt Schofield will recognize Fire Driver Dale Duemmel who is
retiring this month with 30+ years of service.
Public Hearings
- Eric Barron, Planning Manger will present bill 2019-068.
Presentations from Staff, Consultants, & Invited Guests
- Susan Cook Williams and Ron Medin with Habitat for Human ity will speak on
the Jackson Street Summer Blitz Build.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions or discussion regarding the Consent Agenda items.
Bills Introduced
- City Staff provided a summary of their respective bills introduced.
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services indicated that
Staff would no longer request a suspension of the rules for bill 2019 -084
related to the demolition contract for 200/202 East High Street.

- City Staff provided a summary on their respective pending bills.
Councilman Mihalevich arrived at the meeting at 5:58 P.M.
