Mark Hauer Selected As New Human Resources Manager for
Town of Leesburg
Leesburg, VA (October 22, 2015) – The Town of
Leesburg recently announced the selection of Mark
Hauer as Human Resources Manager.
Mr. Hauer has been with the Town of Leesburg since
February 2014, in the position of Human Resources
Analyst. Before coming to Leesburg, Mark was the
Human Resources Manager for BizFlow Corporation, a
business process management software company.
Previously, he worked for Lockheed Martin in various
human resources roles, including Health & Wellness,
Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition and
Project Management. Mark has a bachelor’s degree
from Radford University and an MBA from Strayer
University. He holds professional certifications through the Society for Human Resources
Management (SHRM), the Project Management Institute (PMI) and, most recently, the
International Public Management Associate for Human Resources (IPMA-HR).
As Human Resources Analyst for the Town, Mark was primarily responsible for the
implementation of the Town’s online job application process through the NeoGov Applicant
Tracking System, took a leadership role in the formation of the Town’s internal Customer
Service Design Team, revamped the Town’s new employee orientation process and helped to
develop a town-wide training calendar.

improving both internal customer service to employees and external customer service to job
