Police Personnel Board
Minutes-October 17, 2019
The meeting was called to order at 12:00 p.m.
Seven persons attended as follows:

Following greetings, roll call was taken.
Approval of September 5, 2019 minutes
It was moved by Klindt and seconded by Scruggs that the minutes from September 5, 2019 Board meeting be
approved. The motion was carried unanimously.
New Business
Review of Police Officer and Communications Operator Applicants-
Lt. Stiefermann & Williams discussed the results of the testing that was completed this month.
There were 32 applicants for Police Officer; 16 of these applicants took the written test and 7 passed.
There were 24 applicants for Communications Operator; 7 of these applicants took the written test and 6
passed.
Communications Operator Testing- The Board had a discussion about the personnel needs of the
department and the decision to open up for another testing date for Communications Operator.
Testing date - December 7, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
Next meeting date- The next meeting will be November 7th, 2019
Begin Closed Session (see closed session for details)
A motion was made by Burton and seconded by Scruggs at 12:15 p.m. for the Police Personnel Board to go
into closed session pursuant to RSMo.610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri; the motion passed.
Roll call was as follows:

Stephanie Scruggs – yes Pete Fleischmann - yes
End Closed Session
A motion was made by Burton and seconded by Scruggs at 12:45 p.m. for the Police Personnel Board to come
out of closed session pursuant to RSMo.610.021 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri; the motion passed.
Roll call was as follows:

Stephanie Scruggs – yes Pete Fleischmann - yes
Adjourn
It was moved by Scruggs and seconded by Backues for adjournment. The motion carried. The meeting was
adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
