Leesburg, VA (October 23, 2015) – The Leesburg
Town Attorney’s office is pleased to announce that
Carmen Smith has joined the office as paralegal.
Before joining the Town of Leesburg, Ms. Smith
worked for the Atlantic Law Group, LLC, in Leesburg,
and Tully Rinckey, LLC, in Arlington, where she gained
significant experience in employment law and civil
litigation. Prior to her civilian law career, Ms. Smith
was a paralegal for the United States Air Force Judge
Advocate General (JAG) Corps and retired from the Air
Force after 20 years of service.
Ms. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from American Military University in

“We were fortunate to have a number of very well-qualified candidates,” said Barbara Notar,
