A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF MOAB C:ETY APPROVING THE
INCLUSION OF THE CITY OF MOAB WITHIN THE GRAND COUNTY MULTIPURPOSE
SPECIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Grand County has previously adopted a resolution
declaring its intent to create a special service district and
defining the boundaries of such special service district; and
WHEREAS, Grand County has included the municipality of Moab
City within such proposed boundaries; and
WHEREAS, Grand County has given notice of its passage of such
resolution to the governing body of Moab City; and
WHEREAS, Utah Code Annotated, Section 17A-2-1306 provides that
Moab City may either approve or reject the inclusion of the City
within such special service district;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF MOAB
CITY that:
1. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated, Section 17A-2-1306, Moab
City does hereby give its consent to the inclusion of Moab City
within the special service district known as the Grand County
Multipurpose Special District No. 1.
2. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated, 17A-2-1326, Moab City
does hereby appoint to be its representative
to sit on any administrative control board which may be created by
the Grand County Multipurpose Special District No.1.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
passage.
