A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF A PEDESTRIAN
SIGNAL AT 3540 MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
desires to maintain the safety and protection for pedestrians
throughout the city; and
WHEREAS, the installation of a pedestrian signal at the
mid block crosswalk at 3540 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
will enhance the safety and protection for pedestrians at this
location.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Traffic Engineer be authorized to
erect a pedestrian signal at the following location:
3540 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
(approximately 500 feet south of the intersection of
Abbott Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard)
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
