RESOLUTION NO. gp_187
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION OF THREE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000.00) TO COMPLETE PAYMENT
OF OUR CURRENT FOOD SERVICE OBLIGATIONS AND
~> PROVIDE START UP COSTS FOR THE 1991 SUMMER PROGRAM
THEREFORE
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood provides a variety of
summer programs and services for the youth of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, one of these services is the summer food
service program; and
WHEREAS, the program allows a breakfast and a lunch for
each child at John D. Ham Park, 11555 Wright Road between the
last week in June and the month of August; and
WHEREAS, all food service related expenses are
reimbursed through a U.S.D.A. grant; and
WHEREAS, the program also provides meals for the day
camp program; and

WHEREAS, the attendance in the day camp program
increased twenty to twenty-five percent (20-25%) from last
summer; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that City Council of
the City of Lynwood hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following additional appropriation:

General Fund Balance $3,000.00
(Unappropriated Funds)
TO
O1-4772-4281
AMOUNT
$3,000.00
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
