HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 84-2279 Adoption of City Budget FY 1984-85RESOLUTION NO. 84 -2279 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND APPRO- PRIATING REVENUE OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1984 -85 WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2207 of the Temple City Municipal Code, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed budget for the 1984 -85 fiscal year, starting July 1, 1984, and I WHEREAS, the City Council, as the legislative body of the City has eviewed and modified this proposed budget, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for the efficient management of the City that certain sums of revenue of the City be appropriated to the various departments, offices, agencies and activi- ties of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does resolve, determine and order as follows: SECTION 1. The sum of $32,000.00 is hereby transferred from the General Fund of the City of Temple City to establish a separate Fund to be designated as the Equipment Replacement Fund. All interest earned on such monies shall be designated to the General Fund. SECTION 2. A certain document on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Temple City being marked and designated "Adopted Budget, 1984 -85 Fiscal Year ", said document as prepared by the City Manager, amended by the City Council, and consisting of three copies, is hereby adopted for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1984. SECTION 3. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated from the revenue of the City of Temple City to the following named departments, offices, agencies, and activities of the City for expenditure during the .984 -85 fiscal year.
