RESOLUTION NO. 84 -2281
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY ORDERING THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF
ASSESSMENT -FEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1984 -85 WITHIN THE
CITY -WIDE LIGHTING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT PURSUANT
TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Temple City did on
the 1st day of May, 1984, adopt its Resolution of Intention No.
84 -2270 to levy and collect assessment -fees for Fiscal Year 1984 -85
within the City -Wide Lighting Maintenance District, which Resolution
No. 84 -2270 was duly and legally published in the time, form and
manner as required by law, shown by the Proof of Publication of said
Resolution of Intention on file in the Office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, said City Council having duly received considered
evidence, oral and documentary, concerning the jurisdiction facts
in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the contem-
plated work and the benefits to be derived therefrom, and said City
Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed assess-
ment -fees:
SECTION 1. It is hereby resolved by the City Council of the
City of Temple City that the report filed by the Engineer is hereby
approved; and
SECTION 2. Be it further resolved that the public interest and
convenience requires the ordering of the levy and collection of assess-
ment -fees for Fiscal Year 1984 -85, and said City Council hereby orders
levy and collection of assessment -fees within the City -Wide Lighting
Maintenance District, as set forth and described in said Resolution
No. 84 -2270 be done and made; and
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved that the adoption of this
Resolution constitutes the levy of the assessment fees as set forth
in the Engineer's Report for the Fiscal Year 1984 -85; and
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
file a certified copy of the diagram and assessment with the County
Auditor of the County of Los Angeles not later than the third Monday
in August.
