A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT FOR
PUBLIC PURPOSES OF THAT PORTION OF MULFORD AVENUE
BETWEEN LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND PLAZA STREET, AND
PORTIONS OF ALLEYS SOUTH OF MULFORD AVENUE, WEST OF
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did,
on the 12th day of November, 1990, adopt a Resolution No. 90-192,
declaring its intention to vacate that portion of Mulford Avenue
between Long Beach Boulevard and Plaza Street and portions of
alleys south of Mulford Avenue, west of Long Beach Boulevard, in
the City of Lynwood as hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and
posted in the time, form and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the
18th day of December, 1990, as prescribed by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the following described street and
alley easements are unnecessary for present or prospective public
use, and that the public interest, necessity, and convenience
require, and the City Council of said City hereby declares its
order to vacate and abandon said street and alley easements as
described in the attached legal description and sketches (2) that
are parts of this resolution.
Section 2. That an easement be reserved for City of
Lynwood and other public utility agencies in, over, or upon said
above described portion of Mulford Avenue for the construction,
erection, and/or maintenance therein of pubic utilities.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
shall cause a certified copy of said order to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18thday of December ,
1990.

LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS
That portion of Mulford Avenue, 40.00 feet wide, as shown on map of
Tract No. 2551 in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as recorded in Book 24 pages 78 to 80 of maps in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, and described as
followed:
Beginning at the most northwesterly corner of Lot 405 of said Tract
2551, thence N21°32'32"E a distance of 49.41 feet to a point being th
most southwesterly corner of Lot 340, thence easterly along the south...,.
property line of said Lot 340 a distance of 100.00 feet to the most
southeasterly corner of said lot, thence S75°36'W a distance of 16.00
feet to a point being the most southwesterly corner of Lot 309, thence
easterly along the south property line of said lot a distance of 54.69
feet, thence S11°16'48"E a distance of 40.78 feet to a point on the
north property line of Lot 400 of said Tract being 46.71 feet from the
most northwesterly corner of said lot, thence westerly along the north
property line of Lot 400 a distance of 46.71 feet to the most

Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 458 of said Tract 2551,
thence S 62°18'E, along the northerly line of Lots 458 and 459,
a distance of 100.00 feet to the northwest corner of Lot 460,
thence S 75°36'W along the northerly line of Lots 46, 461 and
462, a distance of 179.42 to the northeast corner of Lot 462,
thence, S 14°24'E along the easterly line of Lots 462 and 463 a
distance of 35.25 feet, thence S 60°42'51" W a distance of 10.74
feet, thence N 25°33'49" E, a distance of 8.75 feet, thence, S
14°24'E, along the westerly line of Lots 395, 396, 397, 398, 399
and 400, a distance of 155.59 feet to the northwest corner of Lot
400, thence westerly along prolongation of the northerly line of
Lot 400 a distance of 16.00 feet to the northeast corner of Lot
401, thence S 14°24'E, along the easterly line of said Lot 401 a
distance of 115.00 feet, to the southwest corner of Lot 401,
thence S 75°36'W, along the southernly lines of Lots 401, 402,
403, 404 and 405 a distance of 173.30 to the southwest corner of

407 a distance of 94.30 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 470,

Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 340, thence easterly along ~
the prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 340 a distance of 16.00;
feet to the southwesterly corner of Lot 309, thence northerly S
14°24'E, along the westerly line of Lots 309, 310, and 311 a distance
of 75.00 feet, thence westerly along the prolongation of the northerly
line of Lot 311, a distance of 16.00 feet to northeast corner of Lot
338, thence southerly along the easterly line of Lots 338, 339 and
340, a distance of 75.00, to the point of beginning.
