A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING CONTRACT AMENDMENTS FOR THE
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (5-5084)
WHEREAS, Lea Associates was contracted by the City to
prepare right-of-way appraisals for the Long Beach Boulevard
Improvement Project; and
~ WHEREAS, the property appraisal reports for phase IIB,
from Agnes Street to Orchard Avenue, were submitted to Caltrans
and The Los Angeles County for review, and additional information
and data are required by FHWA and Caltrans; and
WHEREAS, these required information and data were not
part of the original contract with Lea Associates; and
WHEREAS, a contract amendment is required in the amount
of $38,000.00, for Lea Associates to perform and to expedite the
extra work for the City to meet the project and FAU schedules;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Lynwood is interested in
proceeding with this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim order and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council authorize staff to
issue a contract amendment for $38,000.00 to Lea Associates to
perform and to expedite the additional work.
I Section 2: This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of
December , 1990.
