A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE TO ADD THE FEES FOR CHRISTMAS
TREE SALES(LOTS/STANDS).

WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code, Chapter 4, Licensing and
Business Regulations, Section 4-8.8 F-1) speaks to Firework Stands,
Christmas Tree Stands and similar businesses; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance states the Council will adopt a Resolution
establishing fees; and
WHEREAS, the fees are not for the purpose of revenue, but will be
used to defray administrative costs; and
WHEREAS, the application for Christmas Tree Sales will be accepted
in the City Clerks Office from November 1, to December 1, of each year;
and
WHEREAS, Christmas Tree Lots, except as provided herein, no person
shall offer for sale or sell at retail any Christmas Tree of any kind
in said City without having first applied for and received a City
License, approved by City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1.
1. All applications must be accompanied with the following
A. Applications form completed.
B. Letter of permisaibn from property owner
C. Plot plan of site for electrical installation.
D. $230.00 fee, of which $50.00 will be refunded.

$200.00 Fire Clearance Fee ----$50 is refunded.

Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon
its a option. Lot must meet clean-up requirements before and after sale.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Lynwood held on the 18th day of nac~amhar 1990.
