RESOLUTION NO. 91_9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AN EXTRA SERVICE AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT WITH MARTINEZ
ARCHITECTS, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has entered into a contract in the
amount of $73,655 with Martinez Architects, Inc. for the preparation
of plans for a community/transit center; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has requested that Martinez
Architects, Inc. make several additions and modifications to the
scope of work originally contemplated in the contract; and
WHEREAS, Martinez Architects Inc. has submitted a request for
compensation for the extra services in the amount of $20,000; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the request and has found it
appropriate to the extra work requested;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That the Contract with Martinez Architects, Inc. is
hereby increased by the amount of $20,000 for extra services
requested.
SECTION 2 That the Mayor is authorized to execute the contract
amendment.
C SECTION 3 That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th of January ,1991.

Martinez Architects requests that a modification, in the amount of Twenty Thousand and no/Ii70
Dollars ($20,000.00), be made ro the above-referenced Contract dated August ll, 1990 due to changes
that came about during City Council review/approval to the original scope of services (Exhibit .4)
specifically additional floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, exterior elevation, interior elevation,
additional detailing, power signals, lighting plans, plumbing plan, HVAC plans and specifications as
follows:
