A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ESTABLISH AMOUNT OF JUST COMPENSATION FOR
THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTIES ALONG LONG BEACH
BOULEVARD FROM AGNES AVENUE TO ORCHARD AVENUE
- LONG BEACH BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
PHASE IIB
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
desires to acquire various properties on Long Beach Boulevard,
from Agnes Avenue to Orchard Avenue, in order to widen the street
in a timely fashion; and
WHEREAS, the project involves a large number of small
parcels to be acquired; and
WHEREAS, the project is funded by FAU; and
WHEREAS, the City is required by FHWA and Caltrans to
establish amount of just compensation for said properties; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is
hereby authorized to establish amount of just compensation for
~"` the acquisition of various properties necessary for the street
Il widening project.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of
February , 1991.
