A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE ADDITION OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE
ANALYST I POSITION TO THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO COVER POSITION'S SALARY

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood desires to
efficiently enforce the newly adapted Ordinance No. 1352 impos-
ing utility users taxes; and
WHEREAS, the addition of the new position to the Finance
Department will assist staff in the extra workload in implement-
ing the said new ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the implementation of said Ordinance will generate
revenue to the City in excess of the costs of adding a new staff
position; and
WHEREAS, the position of Administrative Analyst I will also
assist in the billing of the City's parking citations.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1.. The position of Administrative Analyst I for the
Finance Department is hereby approved.
Section 2. The appropriation of an additional $10,900 to
fund the position is hereby approved.
Section 3. The City Manager oz his designee is authorized
to make the following appropriations:

Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately
