RESOLUTION NO. 2015-001
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MORATORIUM REGARDING PLANNED AREA
DEVELOPMENT (PAD) APPLICATIONS
Whereas, the City Council of the City=of Tiffin wants to implement changes to the City
Zoning Code, relating ,to Planned Area Developments within the City;
Whereas, the City Council feels it necessary to impose a moratorium on accepting new
PAD applications, effective February 15, 2015 — August 15, 2015, to allow the City to
review its.procedures relating to Planned Area Developments and draft'a new PAD`
Ordinance.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa thatya '
moratorium regarding PAD applications is in effect February 15, 2015 and expires
August 15,`2015 with approval of this resolution.
On.the 14th day of January, 2015, at a regular meeting of,the Tiffin. City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa,Cuncilperson Ryan A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MORATORIUM
REGARDING PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT (PAD) APPLICATIONS made a
motion for approval'.. Motion seconded by Councilpe`rson Petersen.
Ayes:°Upton, Kahler, Ryan, Petersen, 3
Nays: NONE
Absent: Bartels
r . Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
'declared.that the A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MORATORIUM REGARDING
PLANNED AREA DEVELOPMENT (PAD) APPLICATIONS to be adopted and signified x
his approval of the same by affixing,his signature thereto:
Passed by the City Council on the 14th'day of January, 2015.
