HomeMy Public PortalAbout09/30/68 Special CCM1 5 The Council of the Village of Medina met in special session as a Public Hearing with regard to improvement of the Cartway from Highway #101 to the Brookview Country Club on Monday, September 30, 1968 at 8:15 P. M. Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk Rayburn Anderson, R ymond Bosch and Wayne Neddermeyer, together with Engineer Mills and Attorney Gubbins present. Mr. Mills explained the type of road to be built. Mr. Gubbins: The estimated cost is $14,450.00. General Discussion followed: Attorney Haglund: Objection - Elwell will get no benefit. He won't use it one bit. See no use for the turn around - Strange project. Favorite: Would it hot be shorter from Highway #55 to the Club? Nat Chesler: No Elwell: I don't want a road. I don't know if I could get a permit to build. Chesler: The Club would pay 25$ of cost. General discussion of ways and means of assessing. Mr. Mills and Mr. Gubbins discussed some matters with regard to the sewer and water project. Moved by Rayburn Anderson that the meettng adjourn. Seconded by Raymond Bosch, Motion carried. Mdeting adjourned at 10:50 P. M. 0 Clerk Mayor
