A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE OFFICE ASSISTANT POSITION
IN THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the City Manager's Office, under the direction
of the City Council, provides support to operating departments in
the City Hall of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, during its 1990-91 annual budget, the City
Manager's Office budgeted for an authorized position of Office
Assistant II; and
WHEREAS, due to the departure of the Secretary to the
City Manager, the position was not filled and some of the
responsibilities have been handled by the Office Assistant II;
and
WHEREAS, since the changed duties have been in effect
for the past several months, it is appropriate to' amend the
the Office Assistant II position and upgrade it to the Office
Assistant III position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Lynwood, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Council of the City of Lynwood amend the
position of Office Assistant II and upgrade position to Office
Assistant III.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon be in full
force and effect.
