A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD REVISING THE FUNDING SOURCE FOR
THE PROPOSED TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION AT
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND LOUISE STREET

WHEREAS, on February 19, 1991, the City Council of the
City of Lynwood approved the traffic signal installation at the
intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Louise Street, and
directed staff to look at the funding source for this project;
and
WHEREAS, ICLFA funds are available for the project; and
WHEREAS, ICLFA loan process requires approximately
three months; and
WHEREAS, the Cedar Avenue Reconstruction Project 5-5130
is funded by Section 108 Loan, the project has not started and
these funds are available; and
WHEREAS, in order to expediously implement the traffic
signal project, the funding could be exchanged with the Cedar
Avenue Reconstruction Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve,
order, and determine as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize the City
Manager or his designee to make the following transfers and
appropriations:
