RESOLUTION NO. 91-30
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FOR
PUBLIC PURPOSES ON LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
(PROJECT: 12203 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
r.., determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
i welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, per Planning Commission, Resolution No. 2297,
the project at 12203 Long Beach Boulevard was required to
dedicate strips of land for street widening purposes; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acceptance of said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication at 12203 Long Beach
Boulevard has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the dedication
of an easement for street purposes to the City of Lynwood, as
offered for dedication, as described below:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
PORTION OF LOTS 1024 AND 1025 OF TRACT 3025, IN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 35, PAGES 43 AND 44 OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF
THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY.
SAID PORTION BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE MOST SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF SAID LOT 1025,
THENCE ALONG THE EASTERLY LINE OF SAID LOTS 1025 AND 1024,
N03°04'00"W, 100 FEET TO THE MOST NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF LOT
1024, THENCE WESTERLY ALONG THE NORTHERLY LINE OF LOT 1024,
N86°56'00"E A DISTANCE OF 150 FEET TO THE MOST NORTHWESTERLY
CORNER OF LOT 1024, THENCE SOUTHERLY ALONG THE WESTERLY LINE OF
LOT 1024, S 03°04'00"E A DISTANCE OF 5 FEET, THENCE EASTERLY
586°56'00"W ALONG A LINE PARALLEL TO AND 5 FEET SOUTH OF THE
NORTHERLY LINE OF LOT 1024, A DISTANCE OF 120 FEET TO A POINT OF
TANGENCY WITH A CURVE CONCAVE SOUTHWESTERLY AND HAVING A RADIUS
OF 20 FEET, THENCE EASTERLY AND SOUTHERLY ALONG SAID CURVE A
DISTANCE OF 31.42 FEET THROUGH A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 90°00'00" TO A
POINT OF TANGENCY WITH A LINE PARALLEL TO AND 10 FEET WEST OF THE
EASTERLY LINE OF LOT 1024, THENCE SOUTHERLY, S03°04'00"E, ALONG
SAID PARALLEL LINE A DISTANCE OF 75 FEET TO A POINT, SAID POINT
BEING A POINT ON THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF LOT 1025 AND 10 FEET WEST
OF THE MOST SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF LOT 1025, THENCE EASTERLY
ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF LOT 1025, S86°56'00"W A DISTANCE OF
10 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Assessor's Map No. 6168-021-007 and 6168-021-008
Commonly known as: 12203 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
Section 2. That the above described easement has been
offered for dedication to the City of Lynwood by Young Jun Kim
and Hae Soon Kim.
