A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES ON LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
(PROJECT: 12330 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the easement is necessary for the convenience,
~ welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, per Planning Commission, Resolution No. 1011,
the project at 12330 Long Beach Boulevard was required to
dedicate strips of land for street widening purposes; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acceptance of said easement; and
WHEREAS, street dedication at 12330 Long Beach
Boulevard has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the dedication
of an easement for street purposes to the City of Lynwood, as
offered for dedication, as described below:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
THE SOUTHWEST 1/2 OF THE EAST 15 FEET OF THE WEST 22 FEET OF THE
SOUTH 15 FEET OF LOT 898 AND THE WEST 7 FEET OF LOTS 897 AND 898
OF TRACT 3172, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 32, PAGE 90 OF
MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID COUNTY
Assessor°s Map No. 6175-025-015
Commonly known as: 12330 LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
Section 2. That the above described easement has been
offered for dedication to the City of Lynwood by Mohan and Padma
Patel.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of
