RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE
CENTURY RECLAMATION PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING.

WHEREAS, There is a critical need to develop new local
water supplies; and
WHEREAS, Reclaimed water development and wastewater
recycling is a statewide water policy priority; and
WHEREAS, the implementation and operation of the Century
Reclamation Program will be in the best interest of the public
and will be in line with the City's water conservation program;
and
WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding for the Century
Reclamation Program sets up the framework for the implementation
and operation of the program;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. The City Council approves the Memorandum of
Understanding for the Century Reclamation Program and authorizes
the Mayor to execute the Memorandum Of Understanding.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of
March , 1990.
