A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONSULTANT CONTRACT TO
GIVENS, SAIKI AND WILLIAMS CONSULTING ENGINEERS
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of improving
traffic safety in the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, traffic conditions were reviewed at the
intersection of Louise Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of February
5, 1991 authorized the installation of the traffic signals; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and cost estimates are
needed for this project and are best prepared by an outside
consultant; and
WHEREAS, Givens, Saiki and Williams Consulting
Engineers best meets the City's needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize the Mayor
to execute a consultant service contract with Givens, Saiki and
Williams Consulting Engineers, based on their submitted proposal,
and fee of $6,000.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19TH day of
MARCH 1991.
