RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD THE
APPROPRIATION OF SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($ 6,523) FROM GENERAL
FUNDS RESERVE TO LYNWOOD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FUNDS.
Whereas, due to conducting various activities and operations
throughout the year, Chamber of Commerce funds have been
depleted. Therefore, additional funds are being requested to
r""y-.cover year-end costs; and
i 1~!~ Whereas, the need for said additional funds to meet the
demand in forthcoming activities is necessary in order of
maintain the same level of programs which are of significance to
the community; and
Whereas, it is important to this City to maintain continuity
in presenting and promoting activities and events which involve
the citizens of the community.
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of Lynwood
does herely resolve as follows:
Section I. That the City Council approved the appropriation of
general reserve funds in the amount of $ 6,523 dollars to the
Chamber of Commerce budget.
Section II. That the Business Improvement District Fund Account
No. 25-4116-4220 be increased by $ 6,523 to distribute to the
funds.
Section III. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution, and it shall thereupon be in full
force and effect.
