A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE RIGHT-OF-WAY CERTIFICATIONS FOR
STATE/FEDERAL HIGHWAY PROJECTS
WHEREAS, State/Federal procedures require that the
City submit a Right-of-Way Certification providing assurance
that all right-of-way necessary for the project has been or
will be acquired and that it was acquired in accordance with
the applicable State/Federal procedures before projects may be
advertised for construction; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agencies Program Manual provides
that the City Council may adopt a resolution giving responsible
officials a blanket authority to execute Right-of-Way
Certification on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Lynwood has the
information necessary to provide the required certifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute Right-of-Way Certifications on behalf of the City of
Lynwood on State/Federal Highway projects.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 25th day of
March , 1991.
