Wednesday, November 6, 2019

ATTENDEES:
Committee members present: Erin Wiseman, Laura Ward, Ric Prather, Jon Hensley, Ron Fitzwater
Staff present: Todd Spalding, Gail Strope, Ryan Moehlman
Others Present: Chris Leuckel
Meeting came to order at 7:30 a.m. by Councilwoman Erin Wiseman. The October 9, 2019 minutes were
approved with a motion by Councilwoman Laura Ward and second by Councilman Jon Hensley. The motion
passed 5-0.
Charter Amendments:
a. Parks & Recreation Changes: Ryan Moehlman explained the recommended changes regarding Parks &
Recreation to the Charter. After much discussion, the Commission decided to hold further discussion
until the January 15, 2020 meeting.
Appointments: Presented by Gail Strope. The committee made four new appointments. A motion to approve
was made by Councilman Rick Prather, and seconded by Councilman Jon Hensley. The motion passed 5-0.

The next scheduled meeting will be held at 7:30 a.m. on January 15, 2020 in the Boone/Bancroft room at City
Hall.
There being no further business, Councilman Ron Fitzwater made the motion to adjourn which was seconded
by Councilman Jon Hensley. The motion passed 5-0 ending the meeting at 8:30 a.m.
