Ribbon Cutting Scheduled for New Bus Shelter
Leesburg, VA (June 24, 2021) – Please join Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk and Town Council
members at a ribbon ceremony for the new bus shelter on the corner of Edwards Ferry Road
and Heritage Way, NE.
WHAT: Bus Shelter Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
WHEN: Wednesday, June 30, 2021
11:30 a.m.
WHERE: Corner of Edwards Ferry Road and Heritage Way NE
Parking is available in the parking lot of the Shenandoah Building
This project involved the construction of a sidewalk along the north side of Edwards Ferry Road
between Heritage Way and the Loudoun County Shenandoah Building. A new bus shelter with
solar lighting on Edwards Ferry Road was also installed along with new route signs town-wide.
This project primarily serves residents of northeast Leesburg who rely on walking or public
transportation to County services, work, and shopping locations. This project included
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from Loudoun County.
