One Lane of West Market Street Will Be Closed for Tree
Removal on Wednesday, June 30, 2021
Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto Loudoun Street SW, between Morven
Park Road and Ayr Street.
Leesburg, VA (June 29, 2021) – On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, the westbound lane of West
Market Street, from Ayr Street to Morven Park Road, will be closed to traffic. Contractors will
be removing a tree on the north side of West Market Street. The lane closure will begin at 9
a.m. and the lane will be reopened not later than 4 p.m.
During the lane closure, westbound traffic will be diverted onto the eastbound lane of West
Market Street. Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto Loudoun Street SW at the Morven Park
Road intersection.
Drivers on westbound West Market Street are advised to exercise caution while traveling
through the work zone and to obey flagger directions.
