A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOU
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
THAT PORTION OF CENTURY BOULEVARD AND BRENTON AVENUE,
CITY OF LYNWOOD, AS SHOWN ON TRACT N0. 20680, MAP BOOK 552
PAGES 4 TO 6, RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY

WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Lynwood did on the 20th day
of December, 1984 adopt Resolution No. 83-162, declaring its intention to vacate
that portion of Century Boulevard and Brenton Avenue, as hereinafter described;
and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and posted in the
time, form, and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the 17th day of
January, 1984 as prescribed by law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the following described street easement is unnecessary
for present or prospective public use, and that the public interest, necessity,
and convenience require, and the City Council of said City hereby declares its
order to vacate and abandon said street easement:
Commencing at the most northerly corner of Lot 47 of Tract No. 20680,
in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of .California, as
shown on Map recorded in Book 552, Pages 4 to 6 of Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said County; thence along the most northerly
line of said Lot 47, said northerly line being a non-tangent curve
concave to the southwest, having a radius of 450 feet; thence south-
easterly along said curve through a central angle of 13° 03' 16" a
distance of 102.53 feet to the true point of beginning; thence south
34° 50' 40" east, 45.25 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to
the southwest, having a radius of 25 feet; thence southwesterly along
said curve through a central angle of 90° a distance of 39.27 feet to a
point on a tangent line, said tangent line being the most southeasterly
line of said Cot'~4Z: thence 550 9' 20" east along the northeasterly
prolongation of said last mentioned line to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave to the southwest, having a radius of 25 feet, said curve
being tangent at its northerly terminus to the southeasterly continuation
of said hereinabove mentioned curve having a radius of 450 feet; thence
northwesterly along said curve to said point of tangency with said curve
having a radius of 450; thence northwesterly along said curve having a
radius of 450 feet to the true point of beginning.
Section 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall cause a
certified copy of said order to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
Los Angeles County.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
